All young ladies in the PH band program are required to purchase matching black concert dresses for all performances.  The cost of the dress is $72 and after the initial fitting, dresses will be ordered through the band program.  Please make checks payable to Patrick Henry High School Band Boosters.

Symphonic Band is an advanced ensemble in which students gain a greater understanding, respect, and love of a wide variety of musicals and performance practices.  In the Symphonic Band students begin exploring advanced high school literature and will need to have the skills and desire to perform a wide variety of musical challenges.  (click here for syllabus)

Wind Ensemble is comprised of the most advanced wind and percussion players in the school.  Students become members of the Wind Ensemble only through highly competitive auditions the previous year. In this class we will be exploring music of the highest caliber. Therefore, students are expected to practice at home and come to class prepared to contribute each day. The wind ensemble will meet every other day for a 90 minute period.  (click here for syllabus)

The Patrick Henry High School Concert Band programs are open to all interested students who demonstrate the desire, ability, and proper attitude to be a member of the group. Students who wish to be a member must audition and have permission from the director. Students will be placed into ensembles at the discretion of the director. It should be understood that everyone will have an equal and fair opportunity for band participation.
