After 2 years, the position for Director of Bands at PHHS became
available, and Mrs. Peters could not pass up the opportunity to
teach at her former High School. From 2004 to present, Mrs. Peters
has led the PH Band program to several important accomplishments,
including 4 straight Superior ratings for the Wind Ensemble at the
annual VBODA spring concert festival. She has also been named 4
times in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers," a program that allows
nominations by students only.
In 2005, Mrs. Peters married her fiancé, Jeff, a former band geek
whom you are likely to see at most of the various marching, jazz and
concert performances. They currently reside in Glen Allen with their
cats, Oreo and Ella.
